The second season of the TV anime produced by Production I.G, based on the shoujo manga by Karuho Shiina serialized in Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret. The manga series has sold over 30 million copies. A youth love story depicting the relationship between Sawako Kuronuma, a shy girl nicknamed "Sadako" by her classmates, and the popular Shota Kazehaya. The second season carefully portrays how their relationship progresses through misunderstandings.
