A TV anime produced by AIC Classic, based on the manga by Takako Shimura serialized in Enterbrain's Comic Beam. The series sensitively portrays the gender identity struggles and growth of adolescents, centering on Shuichi Nitori, a boy who wants to be a girl, and Yoshino Takatsuki, a girl who wants to be a boy. As they enter middle school, they search for their true selves in a new environment, depicted with pale watercolor-like visual aesthetics.
