A TV anime produced by ZEXCS, based on the light novel by Shusuke Amagi published under Fujimi Shobo (KADOKAWA)'s Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint, with illustrations by Miyuu. In the far-flung future, the world is covered by pollutants and humanity lives within autonomous mobile cities called "Regios." A boy named Layfon arrives at one such Regios, the academic city of Zuellni, where a mishap during the entrance ceremony lands him in the 17th Platoon tasked with defending the city. However, the platoon turns out to be a ragtag group of underachievers. The story follows Layfon, who carries secrets from his past, and his colorful comrades as they face the threat of Contaminoid beasts. Directed by Itsuro Kawasaki with series composition by Mamiko Ikeda.
