A TV anime produced by Kyoto Animation. This original work was created as the third installment of the "KyoAni Project," in which Kyoto Animation handles all planning and production internally. The TV series reconstructs the studio's OVA "Munto" series with additional new footage. Middle school girl Yumemi has long been troubled by her ability to see mysterious islands floating in the sky. Munto, king of the Magical Kingdom in the celestial world, descends to the surface world and places his last hope in Yumemi's mysterious power, as the universal force "Act" that maintains the balance between the celestial and terrestrial worlds has been depleted, pushing the celestial nations to the brink of extinction. Can the two of them save the world from crisis? Directed by Yoshiji Kigami. The anime aired from January to March 2009 on independent UHF stations for a total of 9 episodes. ©Kyoto Animation
