Kimi ni Todoke is a TV anime adaptation of Karuho Shiina's shojo manga, produced by Production I.G and directed by Hiro Kaburaki. The story follows Sawako Kuronuma, a high school girl nicknamed "Sadako" due to her gloomy appearance, whose life begins to change after meeting the popular Shouta Kazehaya. A heartwarming coming-of-age story of friendship and romance. It aired from October 2009 to March 2010 for 25 episodes.
