A TV anime produced by Triangle Staff, with original concept and direction by Junichi Sato and character design by Ikuko Ito. This original work serves as a sequel to the earlier OVA series (6 episodes, 1996-1997). After the Magic Club at Kitanohashi High School saved humanity from a "quiet invader" by transforming the space creature Tsurigane into a giant cherry tree, Sae and the club members now aim to turn the massive tree into cherry blossom petals. As a magical girl comedy, the series features the lovably unreliable club president Takeo Takakura and the youthful adventures of the Magic Club members.
