An original TV anime produced by AIC, directed and written by Akitaro Daichi. A comedy director who deliberately abandoned all humor to portray the reality of war, inspired by the child soldier crisis in African civil conflicts. Ordinary boy Shu meets mysterious girl Lala-Ru, but a strange machine transports them to a desolate world 50 billion years in the future, where the tyrant Hamdo forces children into endless wars. 13 episodes on WOWOW from October 1999 to January 2000. ©AIC/Pioneer LDC
