An original TV anime produced by OLM (Team Wasaki) and GENCO, broadcast on AT-X once a month in a one-hour slot from May 2001 to May 2002 (13 episodes). Shy girl Tsubasa Shiina lives on a farm in Hokkaido. When she witnesses a spaceship crash, an alien soldier's bio-weapon transforms into a human girl named Hikaru. Together, the two girls must merge into the warrior "Figure 17" to battle ferocious monsters called Magua that have scattered across Hokkaido. The series carefully portrays the blossoming friendship and personal growth of Tsubasa and Hikaru against the backdrop of Hokkaido's natural beauty.
