The first season of the TV anime based on Capcom's popular game series, produced by XEBEC. It aired for 56 episodes on TV Tokyo from March 2002 to March 2003. Set in a highly networked near-future, fifth-grader Netto Hikari and his NetNavi Rockman.EXE fight the cyber-criminal organization WWW (World Three). The series spawned four additional seasons: AXESS, Stream, Beast, and Beast+.
