"Casshern Sins" is a bold reimagining of Tatsunoko Production's classic "Neo-Human Casshern," produced by Madhouse. It aired from October 2008 to March 2009 for 24 episodes. In a devastated world where humanity has declined and robots are consumed by the "Ruin," an amnesiac Casshern learns that he brought ruin to the world by killing a being called "Luna." A philosophical and aesthetically striking sci-fi action series depicting Casshern's lonely journey as he questions the meaning of life, death, and existence.
