"Kurogane no Linebarrels" is a TV anime based on the manga by Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi. Produced by GONZO, it aired from October 2008 to March 2009 for 24 episodes. When 14-year-old Kouichi Hayase encounters the mysterious girl Emi Kizaki and the giant humanoid weapon "Linebarrel" after a strange accident, his life changes forever. Armed with overwhelming power, Kouichi must confront what true justice means as he is drawn into a global conflict between JUDA and the Katou Organization.
