"Tytania" is a TV anime based on the science fiction novel by Yoshiki Tanaka, produced by Artland. It aired on NHK BS2 from October 2008 to March 2009 for 26 episodes. In the distant future, the powerful Tytania clan dominates the galaxy with overwhelming military force, until young officer Fan Hulic from the city-state of Euria unexpectedly defeats a Tytania fleet. This victory draws Fan into galaxy-spanning power struggles in this grand space opera by Yoshiki Tanaka, renowned author of Legend of the Galactic Heroes.
