School Days

School Days is a TV anime based on the adult visual novel of the same name by Overflow, produced by TNK. Broadcast from July to September 2007 in 12 episodes. High school student Makoto Ito develops feelings for Kotonoha Katsura, whom he sees on his daily commute. With the help of classmate Sekai Saionji, he begins dating Kotonoha, but the love triangle grows increasingly complicated, spiraling toward an irreversible tragedy. The series became widely discussed for its shocking conclusion.
