Moetan is a TV anime produced by Actas, based on the popular moe-style English study reference book published by Sansai Books. Aired from July to September 2007 in 12 episodes. The story follows Ink Nijihara, a high school senior struggling with English, who receives a magical item from Ahkun, a fairy from the Magic Kingdom, allowing her to transform into the magical girl "Pastel Ink." She becomes a tutor to help her crush Nao pass his university entrance exams. Features slapstick comedy and action with rival magical girls in a magical girl fantasy setting.
