An anime adaptation by Studio Deen based on the visual novel by TYPE-MOON. The story centers on Shiro Emiya, a high school student who gets drawn into the Holy Grail War—a battle among seven mages and their summoned heroic spirits called Servants. This 24-episode TV series adapts the "Fate" route of the original visual novel, focusing on Shiro's bond with his Servant Saber. Aired January 7 to June 17, 2006.
