A TV anime produced by XEBEC, based on the manga by Nobuhiro Watsuki serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump. Directed by Takao Kato. Ordinary high school student Kazuki Muto loses his life trying to save a girl from a monster at an abandoned factory, but is revived when an alchemical device called a Kakugane is implanted in his chest. Armed with the ability to summon his unique Buso Renkin weapon, Kazuki fights alongside alchemist warriors against man-eating Homunculi.
