A TV anime adapted from Inoue Santa's street culture manga serialized in "boon" magazine (Shodensha). Set in the fictional city of "Tokkyo," the story depicts young men caught between violence and friendship as multiple tribes — including SARU of Musashino, WU-RONZE of Bukuro, and HANDS of Shindyuku — vie for dominance. Produced by Madhouse and directed by Tatsuo Sato, the series is distinguished by its deep roots in hip-hop culture and fashion. The theme songs were performed by Japanese hip-hop legends ILLMATIC BUDDHA MC's and Scha Dara Parr. Broadcast on WOWOW for 13 episodes.
