Piano: The Melody of a Young Girl's Heart

A TV anime produced by OLM featuring original character designs by Kosuke Fujishima. Comprising 10 episodes, the story follows Miu Nomura, a 14-year-old girl who has been playing piano since childhood but struggles with self-confidence. Alongside her outgoing best friend Yuki Matsubara and her supportive family, Miu gradually grows through everyday experiences. Spanning roughly one year from the rainy season through summer vacation, Christmas, and a spring recital, the story delicately portrays friendship, budding romance, and family bonds. A quiet, emotionally rich portrait of an adolescent girl's inner world. Selected as a Jury Recommended Work at the Japan Media Arts Festival.
