A TV anime produced by Bee Train, aired on the TV Tokyo network. Part of the Project .hack multimedia franchise, based on the manga by Tatsuya Hamazaki and Rei Izumi. Set in the online game "The World," twins Shugo and Rena win a limited character contest and begin their adventure. When Shugo obtains the character data of legendary player "Kite," he becomes embroiled in anomalies within the game and uncovers the power hidden in the bracelet and the truth of the world.
