Texhnolyze

Texhnolyze is an original TV anime produced by Madhouse. Original concept by Chiaki J. Konaka with character designs by Yoshitoshi ABe (the team behind Serial Experiments Lain). 22 episodes aired on Fuji TV's late-night block from April to September 2003. Set in the decaying underground city of Lux, young prize fighter Ichise loses his right arm and left leg in a gang conflict. Saved by the scientist Doc and fitted with mechanical prosthetics called "Texhnolyze," he becomes entangled in the fate of the underground world alongside Ran, a girl with precognitive abilities.
