A Toei Animation remake of the 1976 mecha anime "Gaiking." Young Daiya Tsuwabuki pilots the giant battleship Daiku-Maryu to fight invaders from the otherworld Darius. A hot-blooded robot action series that pays homage to the original while attracting new fans with modern updates.
