Date A Live F Last Date is a brand-new anime adaptation based on the light novel series Date A Live by Koushi Tachibana, published under KADOKAWA's Fantasia Bunko imprint. Conceived as the final chapter of the long-running franchise, which has sold over six million copies worldwide and spawned five television anime adaptations plus multiple theatrical releases, the new project is directed by Junji Nishimura with animation production by Fugaku. The story follows Shido Itsuka, an ordinary high school student who discovers he can seal the overwhelming powers of mysterious "Spirit" girls by making them fall in love with him and sealing their powers with a kiss. As the many mysteries surrounding spacequakes, the Neighboring World, DEM Industries and Shinji Takamiya come to a head, Shido and the Spirits face their final battle. The series tagline: "Come now — let us begin our final war… our final date."
