Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of "Anisongs" (https://anisongs.jp, including its related API, MCP server, and mobile app; the "Service"), operated by Forfans LLC ("we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

The Service provides a database of anime songs (theme and insert songs) and related works, artists, and production credits. You may search tracks, browse works and artists, check anime-song purity, and build playlists via the Web, the mobile app, or connectors (MCP / API) of supported AI assistants (such as Claude and ChatGPT). Playlists you create can be shared as receipt links and exported to supported music services (such as Spotify, YouTube Music, and Apple Music).

2. Accounts and Identifiers

The Service is designed for anonymous use and does not require registration of personal information such as name or email. You are identified by an anonymous identifier (token) issued per browser, app, or AI connector. You are responsible for safeguarding this identifier; we are not liable for any harm arising from its disclosure to or use by third parties.

3. AI Connectors and Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with AI assistants and music services, but these third-party services (including Anthropic, OpenAI, Spotify, Google, and Apple) are outside our control. Your use of them is subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, or fees. We do not warrant the accuracy of AI-generated selections or responses.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  • violate any law or public order and morals;
  • infringe the intellectual property or other rights of us or any third party;
  • place excessive load that disrupts the Service, or scrape data comprehensively via automated bulk access;
  • engage in unauthorized access, reverse engineering, or other attacks against the Service's API, MCP server, or authentication mechanisms;
  • improperly obtain or use another user's identifier (token);
  • engage in any other conduct we reasonably deem inappropriate.

5. Intellectual Property

Copyright and other intellectual property rights in the database structure, text, design, and other content of the Service belong to us or the rightful owners. Rights in the underlying works, songs, and images belong to their respective rights holders. Playlists you create through the Service may be shared and exported for your own personal use.

6. Paid Plans

The Service offers a free plan and a paid plan (Anisongs Pro). The free plan may include limits such as a monthly cap on playlist creation. Pricing, features, and billing methods for the paid plan (in-app purchase, USDC, etc.) follow what is displayed within the Service. Billing and cancellation are also subject to the terms of the relevant payment providers (Apple, Google, payment networks, etc.).

7. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is." We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to its completeness, accuracy, usefulness, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from interruption or error. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from data errors, suspension/change/termination of the Service, integration failures with third-party services, or otherwise from your use of the Service.

8. Changes, Suspension, and Termination

We may change, temporarily suspend, or terminate the Service without prior notice, and are not liable for any resulting damages to you or third parties.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms as needed. Revised Terms take effect when posted within the Service. Your continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of Japan. Any dispute between you and us regarding the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over our head office as the court of first instance.
