A voice actor widely known for long voicing the national icon Doraemon. In her signature work 'Doraemon (1979 TV Asahi series)', she sang the endings 'Marugao no Uta' and 'Santa Claus wa Doko no Hito', adding warmth to the show with a gentle, approachable voice. She also handled 'Pocket no Naka ni' for the film 'Doraemon: Nobita and the Steel Troops'. Singing as one with her character, she is beloved across many generations.
