The Kamitakada Boys' Choir is indispensable to any account of early TV anime, supporting many classic themes with their voices. They performed the opening 'Tetsuwan Atom' of 'Astro Boy', Japan's first full serialised TV anime, as well as 'Wonder 3' for 'W3' and the opening 'Super Jetter' and ending 'Ike Ryuseigo' for 'Super Jetter'. They also sang 'Susume! Robin' for 'Rainbow Sentai Robin'. The clear singing of these boys shaped the iconic sound of early anime themes.
