デンキグルーヴ

Denki Groove is a Japanese techno and electronic music unit centered on Takkyu Ishino and Pierre Taki. With their signature mix of sly humor and cutting-edge electronic production, the group has been a major influence on the Japanese music scene for decades. They have also made repeated marks on anime by providing tracks with unmistakable personality. Their contributions include Niji, an insert song used in Eureka Seven, as well as Upside Down, the opening theme, and Shangri-La, the ending theme, of Trapeze. They also performed Mononoke Dance, the opening theme of Hakaba Kitaro. Whether as dancefloor-friendly electro, dreamy synth-pop, or playful grooves, their anime work shows the broad reach of their sound.
