Yoko Hikasa is a Japanese voice actress and singer from Kanagawa Prefecture. Her breakout role came as Mio Akiyama in K-On!, where she also took on vocal and bass duties for the show's in-universe band Ho-kago Tea Time, gaining attention for her singing as well as her acting. Since then she has handled many anime theme songs and in-character numbers, continuing to expand her musical career alongside her voice work. She performed Utsukushiki Zankoku na Sekai, the ending theme of Attack on Titan, where her strong, commanding voice was praised for matching the weight of the series' dark and dramatic world. Across both acting and singing, she has built a reputation as a performer with a broad and deeply expressive range.
