Hideyuki Takahashi is a Japanese male vocalist who built his career performing tokusatsu songs, especially hero and kids' songs within the Super Sentai franchise and related series. Long hoping to take on an anime main theme, he earned that opportunity with Go ahead!, the opening theme of the TV anime Tanken Driland: Sennen no Mahou, where he served as lead vocalist for an extended run of the show. The song, written by Kumiko Aoki and composed by Katsuki Maeda, pairs a powerful melody with his clear, expressive delivery, producing an energetic and courageous anthem perfectly suited to a boys' adventure anime opening.
