BAND-MAID is a five-piece rock band formed at the initiative of Miku Kobato (G/Vo), a former maid-cafe worker, with Saiki (Vo), Kanami Tono (Gt), Misa (Ba) and Akane Hirose (Dr). The gap between maid outfits and hard rock, backed by serious musicianship, broke overseas first. Calling shows okyuuji and fans goshujin-sama, they have played festivals like Lollapalooza and written many anime themes.
