ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, commonly known as Ajikan, is a Japanese alternative rock band made up of Masafumi Gotoh (vocals/guitar), Kensuke Kita (guitar), Takahiro Yamada (bass), and Kiyoshi Ijichi (drums). Formed in Yokohama, Kanagawa, they have won broad support with propulsive guitar rock and Gotoh's literary lyrics. Many anime-song standards written by Gotoh stand among their signature tracks, including Rewrite (OP of Fullmetal Alchemist), Haruka Kanata and Blood Circulator (OPs of Naruto), Re:Re: (OP of Erased), Maigoinu to Ame no Beat (OP of The Tatami Galaxy), and the OP of Dororo.
