Mayu Maeshima is a female singer from Tokyo. After serving as the second vocalist of the music unit MYTH & ROID, where she performed many anime theme songs, she launched her solo career in earnest. Prized for outstanding vocal power, multilingual-sounding pronunciation, and expressive range spanning rock to ballads, she has a strong affinity with fantasy works. She asserted her solo presence with Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World Season 2 Part 2 opening 'Long shot,' followed by Villainess Level 99 opening 'LOVE or HATE?,' theme songs for the Ishura series, and The Warrior Princess and the Barbaric King opening 'BEAUTIFUL.'
