THE YELLOW MONKEY are a Japanese rock band fronted by Kazuya Yoshii, rooted in glam rock and renowned for the seductive, flamboyant sound that dominated Japan's 1990s rock scene. After an initial breakup they reunited and remain highly acclaimed for both their live shows and recordings, and their 26th single CAT CITY, written by Kazuya Yoshii and composed by Hideaki Kikuchi, was newly written as the opening theme of the TV anime Nyaight of the Living Cat.
