A Japanese pop rock project from Nara Prefecture centered on Mikiha. Originally formed as a band, it now continues as Mikiha's solo project. Built around her powerful and translucent vocals, the project delivers a sparkling, bouncing pop sound and handles many anime tie-ups. True to its name, which combines the Latin phrase Spira Spera, meaning 'where there is life, there is hope', with Spica, a brilliant blue first-magnitude star, the appeal lies in uplifting songs that shine a forward-looking light. They handle 'Tune Up', the ending theme for the TV anime The Black Cat and the Witch's Classroom.
