Hiroya Ozaki

A Japanese singer-songwriter and son of legendary artist Yutaka Ozaki. Raised partly in Boston, he is bilingual and draws inspiration from 60s-90s rock and blues icons such as John Mayer, weaving English phrases into soulful melodies. He performed 'Glory Days', the theme for the anime film series 'Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution', co-written with producer Koichi Tsutaya and lyricist Junji Ishiwatari. His own journey of carrying on a famous father's legacy resonated with the protagonist Renton's story, drawing wide attention to the song.
