A Japanese girls' rock band born from a Sony Music Records audition project supporting women's dreams. Members held day jobs as a single mother, paramedic, student, and cafe staff, joined together with actress Miori Takimoto participating as vocalist MIORI. They made their CD debut with Kimi no Matsu Sekai, the opening theme for the TV anime Magic Kaito 1412, delivering a refreshing yet powerful rock sound to propel the speedy phantom thief action. The name LAGOON embodies the meaning of a gathering place for women who carry their dreams.
