Kaori Hikita is a female singer from Kitakyushu in Fukuoka Prefecture, known for a translucent voice and a distinctive world that has carried songs written by composers such as Yuki Kajiura. She made her national debut in 2005 with Michiyuki, the ending theme of the TV anime LOVELESS, a song that remains closely identified with the series. She has since contributed to numerous anime endings, including Egao no Wake for Shounen Onmyouji, Te no Naka no Eien for Hatenkou Yuugi, Namae no Nai Michi for Amatsuki, and Kumori Glass no Mukou for Maria-sama ga Miteru 4th Season.
