Kanbaru Suruga (Miyuki Sawashiro) is a character-billed unit for the TV anime Bakemonogatari produced by Shaft. Voice actress Miyuki Sawashiro, who plays basketball-club star Suruga Kanbaru possessed by the Rainy Devil apparition, sings in character. The opening theme ambivalent world (lyrics by meg rock, music and arrangement by Satoru Kosaki) is a sprinting, up-tempo number that captures Kanbaru's sporty exuberance and the bent feelings she conceals beneath it.
