TIMESLIP-RENDEZVOUS is a Japanese rock band formed in 1994 around Kingo Kondo, with members including Yuuetsu Izawa, Taiji Kondo, and Hiroyuki Tomisawa. Their work combines lyrical melodies with the sensibilities of Japanese-language rock. In anime, they performed the ending theme Ushinawareta Aozora for Crest of the Stars, the space opera based on Hiroyuki Morioka's novels. With lyrics and music by Kingo Kondo and arrangement shared between Masanori Sasaji and the band, the song wraps the cosmic story of the alien Abh in a warm, distinctly Japanese melancholy, and is remembered as an iconic closer by fans of the series.
