TRANSTIC NERVE is a Japanese visual kei rock band formed in 1995, built around vocalist TAKA and a twin-guitar lineup that delivered melodic yet aggressive rock through the late 1990s and early 2000s. After the band's breakup some members went on to form The Underneath. In anime, they performed the ending theme OVERHEAD RUN for the shojo-manga adaptation Kaikan Phrase and the ending theme INTO YOURSELF for the mecha-action series Zoids, with TAKA penning the lyrics for both. Their introspective words riding sharp, polished rock arrangements left a strong impression on both visual kei fans and anime audiences of the era.
