Mayumi Tanaka is a veteran voice actress whose debut came with the 1978 TV anime 'Gekiso! Rubenkaiser'. She has played leading roles in long-running and nationally beloved works including Monkey D. Luffy in 'One Piece', Krillin in 'Dragon Ball', and Pazu in 'Castle in the Sky'. In the 'Sakura Wars' series she voices Kanna Kirishima, and as Kanna she sings the TV anime's ED 'Gekitei Ondo', wrapping the bon-odori arrangement by lyricist Ouji Hiroi and composer Kohei Tanaka with her playful delivery.
