P-chicks

P-chicks is a music project who performed the opening theme JUMP〜Meippai Dakishimete for the WOWOW anime Hand Maid May. Hiroo Oyagi wrote the lyrics and composed the song, with arrangement co-handled by Oyagi and Kaoru Okubo. The pop, propulsive sound introduced this maid-robot romantic comedy and helped set the tone of the series. The track appears on the original single and on the show's soundtrack album, and remains a memorable late-night anime theme from the early 2000s era of original works.
