Hysteric Blue is a Japanese rock band known for hits such as Haru ~spring~ and Naze..., specializing in poppy, catchy guitar-rock. Their anime work includes Grow Up, the opening theme of the Fuji TV horror series Ghost Stories. Written and composed by Takuya, the song is, despite being the theme of a horror anime, a bright and youthful rock number, and the deliberate contrast between this upbeat opening and the show's spookier content is striking. It remains one of the band's signature singles.
