Melocure is a female twin-vocal unit consisting of singer-songwriters Ritsuko Okazaki and Megumi Hinata. The name is a contraction of 'Melodic Hard Cure', signaling the unit's signature delicate, beautiful melodies. They debuted with 'Itoshii Kakera', the opening theme of the TV anime 'UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie', and their follow-up 'Stratos 4' opening '1st Priority' became an unusual hit for an anime theme song. The DB on this site also links them to 'Meguri Ai' for the sequel 'UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie: December Nocturne' and 'Home & Away' for 'My Wife Is a Magical Girl', among other tracks.
