KUMACHI is a Japanese alternative rock band fronted by vocalist Naotake Kumagai, the project taking its name from its leader and pairing pop melodies with a full band sound. Their best-known anime credit is 'keep contact,' the ending theme of TV Tokyo's 'Fortune Dogs'; Kumagai wrote both the words and music, with the arrangement co-handled by KUMACHI and Sueaki Harada, and the song doubled as the CM theme for Clarino school satchels. They also performed 'Sayonara,' the ending theme of 'Rumiko Takahashi Anthology,' bringing their warm, unforced sound to the show's slice-of-life world.
