Saeko Chiba is a female voice actress and singer from Tokyo who began her career with the Minami-Aoyama Girls' Theatre Troupe in 1994 and made her CD debut in 1996 with 'Otoko nara' for the game 'Omakase! Tatsumaya.' Her relatively low register has lent itself to tomboyish and boy roles, and she is known for parts such as Natsuki Kuga in 'My-HiME,' Chika Ito in 'Strawberry Marshmallow' and Sakura Mitsukai in 'Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan.' As a singer she has handled numerous anime tie-ups, including 'Hikari' (written for her by Yuki Kajiura) for 'Heat Guy J,' 'Ice Cream' for 'The World of Narue' and 'Sayonara Solitaire' for 'Chrono Crusade,' colouring each ending with a delicate, transparent vocal tone.
