Captain Straydum is a three-piece rock band formed in 1999 by Utsunomiya University classmates Seiya Nagatomo (vocals/guitar), Keisuke Umeda (bass), and Moriyoshi Kikuzumi (drums), known for pop-friendly melodies and warm, plain-spoken lyrics. In anime, they contributed to multiple hit series with 'Mountain a Go Go Two', an ending theme of 'NARUTO'; 'Fusen Gum', an ending theme of 'Gintama'; and 'LONE STAR', the opening theme of 'Ghost Slayers Ayashi'. Their breezy rock sound brought distinct color to each show, leaving a lasting mark on 2000s anime music.
