Fureai is a male duo from Kanagawa Prefecture who made their major debut in 2000. One of their signature tracks is 'Kaze no Tabibito,' released in May 2003 as the fourth-period ending theme for the TV anime 'The Prince of Tennis.' The song was co-written by Osamu Okubo and Junichiro Kawano, composed by Yasushi Ishii, and arranged by Hiroo Ariga, with the duo's gentle harmonies leaving a calm afterglow at the close of this youthful sports anime. Their folk-tinged acoustic sound has continued to win listeners quietly beyond the anime fanbase.
