Kana Asumi is a Japanese voice actress from Fukuoka Prefecture, affiliated with 81 Produce. She is known for a soprano voice tinged with a soft Hakata accent and a naturalistic, soothing acting style. In 2007 she landed her first lead as Yuno in 'Hidamari Sketch,' also serving as sole personality for the 'Hidamari Radio' program. For the sequel 'Hidamari Sketch x 365' she sang the opening '? de Wasshoi,' written by Aki Hata, composed by Tatsh, and arranged by Takahiro Ando, expressing the lively daily life of the residents of Hidamari Apartments from the very first second of the show. She later led further hit titles including 'Haiyore! Nyaruko-san' as Nyaruko and has received the Seiyu Awards multiple times.
