BECCA, real name Rebecca Emily Hollcraft, is an American singer-songwriter from Portland, Oregon. She began writing songs at a young age and picked up the guitar at ten. In early 2008 she signed with Sony Music Entertainment Japan, releasing her debut Japanese single 'Perfect Me' that April. She is best known in anime circles for 'I'm ALIVE!', the ending theme of 'Black Butler', with lyrics by herself and Meredith Brooks, music co-written by BECCA, Brooks and TABO, and arrangement by Chris Satriani. The result is an uptempo, girls-rock-tinted closer that became widely recognised among Japanese anime fans.
