Cö shu Nie feat. HYDE is a special collaborative billing between the rock band Cö shu Nie - vocalist/guitarist/keyboardist Miku Nakamura and bassist Shunsuke Matsumoto - and HYDE, the vocalist of L'Arc~en~Ciel and VAMPS. Originally formed around Nakamura's solo project in Osaka, Cö shu Nie is known for tightly written, edge-of-progressive rock and Nakamura's piercing high register. The pairing recorded 'MAISIE', an opening theme for the long-running 'Black Butler' franchise, contributing a layered, gothic-leaning rock piece whose dark glitter is shaped by Nakamura's composition and HYDE's writing and vocal presence.
